The main fabrication facility located in Beamsville, Ontario (just off the QEW Niagara) is capable of fabricating IBG’s custom skylights, sunshades systems and unitized curtainwall. Custom metal fabrication as well as the manufacture, assembly and glazing of other company’s systems are also services offered. Glazing of assembled frames is a very efficient process with a 2-part sealant pump. The controlled mixing of base and catalyst allows for various colours to be achieved as well as extremely fast cure times. Frames can be glazed and then crated for shipment a mere four hours later thus resulting in a higher volume of pre-glazed materials to the job site while occupying less floor space in the shop.
Custom crates are manufactured in central shipping also located in the main facility located in Beamsville. The location is ideal for materials being delivered to Toronto as well as across the border into the US. Container shipments are frequently used for overseas shipments and even air freight has been used if the schedule requires it and the budget allows it. All components for the various sloped and vertical glazing systems are stocked on site including hardware, gaskets, sealants, tapes, insulation, anchors and some sheet aluminum components.
